Short bio
I am a Lecturer and Researcher at the University of Yaoundé I.
I successfully completed my PhD in the same university, under the supervision of René Ndoundam and Alain Tchana.
After completing my doctoral studies, I was invited to join the Krakos team at LIG for two weeks.
My main research area is at the intersection of steganography and cloud computing, with a particular focus on data confidentiality. Thus, I study obfuscation methods that preserve the integrity of cover media to guarantee the undetectability of covert communications.
Throughout my academic journey, I had the pleasure of doing internships that have considerably enriched my expertise. Under the supervision of Rolf Kraemer, Head of the System Design Department at the IHP Laboratory of the Brandenburg University of Technology in Germany, I focused on the resilience of computer systems in real-time security-critical application scenarios. In addition, I collaborated with Alain Tchana in the MLNS2 team of the LIG, contributing to the proposal of a polynomial attack on one of the most recent cloud steganography systems and we then proposed PQHIDE, the first post-quantum steganography system based on error-correcting codes and exploiting cloud computing.
During my thesis I also had a part-time assistant position in the undergraduate cycle of the University of Yaoundé I. The courses taught include programming and cybersecurity.
Research interests: Security and confidentiality of communications; Data obfuscation techniques; Attack, detection and prevention; cloud computing.

Research projects
Resilience of IT systems in critical real-time application scenarios
During the execution of IT systems, there may be attacks that can degrade the execution of available services. The goal of the project is to propose detection mechanisms to identify any attack attempt and propose reaction mechanisms to deploy specific means to mitigate or inhibit any successful attempt.

Post-quantum steganography exploiting cloud computing
Recent developments raised the idea of doing steganography using cloud computing services; this is called Cloud Steganography. PQHIDE proposes a polynomial attack on one of the most recent Cloud Steganography system and the first post-quantum steganography system based on error-correcting codes and exploiting cloud computing
